Word talk
Page upon page of meaningless words
the complete fiasco of paper meets pen
I omitted to print the instructions
TAKE MATCH AND BURN!
Today this house has redeemed you.
You are permitted to chew your nails
smoke, sulk and scream.
The WORDS are permitted to flash
in your mind.
WALLS OF STONE - the forest will shelter me
PANES OF GLASS - warmth through the gaps in the trees
TICKING CLOCKS - time only has meaning with the passing of seasons
CARPETED FLOOR - the ground is soft where pine needles have fallen
TAP WATER - the streams have taught me the importance of reflections
LONELINESS - evil creeps in empty rooms
Beware of the literature of COMPROMISE |
