These images express a narrative inspired by the childhood game of dressing up. They also represent a dialogue between myself and the restrictions of my illness. At root - they stem from an inner voice of defiance that states, ' I am, and always will be, a dancer in my heart'.

The first set of images were taken to coincide with my 50th birthday (in 2002). I resolved to repeat the process for my 60th.
